Bloctel

Since June 2016, individuals no longer wishing to be solicited over the phone can register on the anti-solicitation telephone list Bloctel.

Bloctel is the new list of opposition to cold calling since 1st June 2016 on which any consumer can register free of charge in order to no longer be phoned by a professional with whom he has no Contractual relationship in progress, in accordance with Law No. 2014-344 of 17th March 2014 on consumption.

It includes the fixed and mobile telephone numbers of consumers who no longer wish to be solicited by telephone. This service has been made obligatory by the State and is punishable in the event of non-compliance *.

The implementing Decree No. 2015-556 of 19 May 2015

Any company wishing to conduct telemarketing campaigns must transmit its file to Opposetel, an organisation that is responsible for expurging it from the numbers listed on the Bloctel list.
